design is the window to your soul

So we have lived in our house since 1994 and we have been through a few remodels in that time. About 10 years ago we asked Debbie to help us. redesign th e kitchen and she came over and made the kitchen look beautiful. So fast forward to 2019 and we wanted to freshen up the house a little more. We went to Debbie and said we want the house to be open and airy and we want the indoor outdoor look. She sat down with the Architect, the contractor and us and they planned out the big remodel. She got rid of that 1980's wood look and she opened rooms like nobody else . She fought with the contractor who weighs twice as much and said "NO, this is how you need to do it". She fought for the beautiful home we now live in. She worked through the Pandemic never missing a beat and everybody she referred us to was FANTASTIC! Due to the pandemic some things took a little longer, but at the end of the day it was all worth it. I don't know if she has before pictures, but I sit at my kitchen table looking over my outdoor patio and into my beautifully landscaped backyard and I am just so happy that we did what we did! Next year is the upstairs, and I can't wait to see what she docs there.

In late 2015 I decided to remodel my kitchen. I stumbled upon Debbie Borreson as an interior decorator because, at that time, she was in a design center on Bouquet Canyon Road and I stopped to look at kitchen fixtures from another vendor. She wasn't in at the time, but I took her card. She came to my house and we decided on a plan for redoing the kitchen. One thing led to another, and I ended up redecorating my entire house over the next year. Debbie was a pleasure to work with. She listened carefully to what I wanted and brought one pretty thing after another for me to review. She had no expectations that I would conform to what she liked, but rather did her best to interpret my vague descriptions of what I liked. The contractors she recommended were excellent. Debbie was up front and fair about the pricing. All in all, it was a wonderful experience! Debbie is a lovely and sweet person, and I'm glad to ca11 her my friend!

It was so easy and fun working with you, Debbie. We appreciated how patient you were with all our ideas. Thank you for being such a good listener and for squeezing in so much good information in such a short time. Your keen eye, light-heartedness, and expertise were invaluable to our kitchen project.
